Submission Guidelines for Issue #8
(Deadline April 15th, 2012)

Theme: MONSTERS!

Rebel Doll is accepting Art, Photography, Prose, Poetry, Short Stories, How-to/DIY articles, Recipes, Band Reviews, Band Intervies, Show Reviews, Film Reviews, Comics, Games, etc. (if you are unsure about your piece send it in anyway). Contributions do not necessarily have to reflect the theme.
  • At this time contributions are limited to the Indianapolis Area except for 1 page per zine dedicated to an out of town fan (email for details).
  • Email images as a JPEG, PDF or TIFF and at least 300 dpi
  • Please include your name on your art/poetry/etc. Exceptions will be made in some cases. You may use your Real Name, First Name only, Pseudonym, etc - Credit will be noted on the Table of Contents page
  • Submissions will be copied in Black and White with a photocopier, make not of that if you submit a piece in color. Tip: Contrasty pieces look better when copied.
  • Issue #7 will be a half zine so each page will be approximately 8.5 x 5.5 - I have the ability to resize if the piece submitted is bigger. Portrait (vertical) orientation preferred.
  • Limit 1-2 pages per submission (if you can fit all on 1 page I will love you forever)
  • Have fun! (This zine is just as much yours as it is mine!)
  • After it's received it will be reviewed and you will be emailed if accepted
  • A complementary issue will be mailed to you if your piece is approved for the issue :)
As an Indianapolis community project, I am trying to keep most of the content local based, so a band interview with a local band might be chosen than an out of town band review, but it's all relative at this point as I really want to highlight local artists/writers. So submit away and we'll figure it out! :D Email if you have any questions!
